The term “psychic” is often used as a catchall phrase for anyone who works in the paranormal. Our sixth sense, psychic ability, or our intuition, is that gut feeling or hunch you sometimes feel. Therefore, everyone is psychic to some degree or another, but not everyone is a medium.  A medium is able to become completely receptive to the higher frequency or energies directly from Spirit.

Mediumship is much more involved because a medium is opening to  discarnate energy. Mediumship itself can be broken down into two distinct categories:

Communicating with spirits while fully conscious via:

[A] Clairsentience - (clear feeling)  physically perceiving.

[B] Clairvoyance - (clear vision) Seeing ( internally) objects, colors, symbols, people, etc.

[C] Clairaudience - (clear hearing) Perceive sounds or words from sources broadcasting from a spiritual realm

Channeling is another well-known form of mediumship. A trance medium is someone who goes into a trance state to relay messages from the other side. The difference between channeling, semi trance and full trance is the medium’s state of consciousness.

* A lot of care needs to be taken when using either psychic or mediumship privileges as not every spirit or entity is for our highest and best good. Before practicing on one's own it is always best to consult with someone trustworthy for guidance and feedback *
